Out of town Leisure in a post-covid world

Written by Linzi McGuire | May 13, 2020 11:00:00 PM

As our cities and high streets series draws towards the end of the week, we're going out of town to take a quick look into how leisure and out of town tourist attractions may adapt to survive in the new world.

Join us as we take a snapshot view into Zoos, Adventure Theme Parks, Gyms and Museums, with exclusive insight from Customer Development Director, Helen Sheridan.

Zoos & Adventure Theme Parks

Helen Sheridan, Customer Development Director comments, "Venues like Theme Parks and Zoos are likely to be attended on a planned and booked basis in every way, from the day you go to what time to see certain attractions. Its unclear what consumer demand will look like for parks when they reopen but controlling consumer flow, reduced occupancy and more accessible areas for sanitizing will drive the confidence people need to come back. It also leads to opportunities for smarter social distancing with virtual queuing for example, so peoples' experience and fun isn't detracted by waiting 2 hours for an ice cream or your favourite ride"
