When the government announced that essential workers included those involved in the grocery supply chain we listened. But we also made sure that for our clients in other sectors, we sought ways to deliver value for them throughout lockdown.
Since the world changed in March, we've been busy - both in-store and digitally!
This meant that our Grocery partners in essential retail were supported with some extra hands in a time of crisis, our convenience partners were supported and engaged via apps and technology, while in non essential retail like Technology, retail professionals were in regular communication with our field teams online where we helped to upskill them and get them ready for a fast start ahead of their doors reopening post lockdown. In addition, our telephony teams in Financial Services and Food and Delivery sectors all moved to work from home within a 12 hour time period so we could continue to support our partners on the phone without being in the office.
The feedback we've had from our partners has been amazing. Retailers, particularly in essential retail, have been very vocal about their gratitude for the extra support during a time where they were struggling to keep their shelves stocked.
We'd like to share a huge thank you to all of our colleagues for pulling together during a very uncertain and challenging time to deliver for our client and customer partners.
There's no doubt this has been a challenging time for all, but we're so proud that we were able to be there for our clients and retail partners in their time of need, and we're so thankful to all of our colleagues for being so agile when goal posts shifted and territories and activities changed overnight almost without warning. We feel really lucky to work with such great people, amazing brands and fantastic customer networks who all trust us to do the right thing for them. We did this together.
