We are delighted to welcome our new Chief Financial Officer, Jon Chambers. Jon joined our Group in July and had a handover with our former Finance Director, Michelle Jordan who retired earlier this month.
Jon joins us following a long career in leadership positions in the UK and Australia. Throughout his working life Jon has sought to build a broad skillset, not just in finance. He has worked for branded businesses and understands the challenges of maintaining brand value and keeping up with the ever-changing competitive landscape.

He brings a breadth and depth of experience to our business, having built his career across multiple sectors of industry, and many disciplines within finance. Jon comments, “I am super excited to join Avidity on the back of 2 years of growth in the business and with clear aims to achieve more with existing and new clients. Before starting his career, Jon studied physics at Warwick University before he became a chartered accountant and joined the RAF for a time in between. He comes with a wealth of experience built over an impressive career in audit, group finance, commercial finance and financial controller roles in a broad spectrum of industries including energy, tourism and real estate, mining, aviation, consultancy and FMCG.
He is married with two young boys aged 8 & 2, he enjoys keeping fit including playing tennis and golf, when time allows. He’s a big music fan and cites EDM as his favourite genre – his artists on repeat include DJs Armin and Cosmic Gate however he also enjoys bands like The Prodigy and Empire of the Sun. No stranger to a challenge, Jon likes to get his heart racing and has cage dived with great white sharks and skydived over Table Mountain.
We welcome Jon to his new role and are excited to have him join us to focus on adding value, driving process change & improvement projects and delivering the strategy as a member of our Group Exec and the new leader of our Group Finance team.
